Epilogue

“That was sweet of your parents to send us on a real honeymoon,” Liz sighs, sinking back into Lucky’s arms. The reception had finally ended, and they were resting comfortably in their new house.

He hugs her tightly and smiles. “Yeah, I was kind of surprised, but I’m glad they did it. It’ll be nice to get away for a while. I’ve never been to Disney World before.”

She turns her head to look up at him. “You’re kidding, right? You’ve never been there?” He shakes his head. “Well, you’re going to love it. I think it’s cool that we’re going there instead of some boring island or somethhing. I guess they know us better than I thought.”

“They’re good at that sort of thing.” He kisses the top of her head and smiles. “We don’t leave until tomorrow afternoon, so what do you want to do until then?” he asks suggestively.

She sits up and grins at him. “We haven’t tried the new bed yet...” She jumps up and giggles, running off to their bedroom, with Lucky in hot pursuit.

“Lucky and Elizabeth Spencer....so young, so in love.” The woman chuckles dryly. She sighs and traces a finger over the image of Lucky’s face on the screen. “Just as I cursed your parents’ wedding over twenty years ago, I am cursing your marriage as well, young Spencer. You and your new wife better enjoy the honeymoon, because I will make certain that your life together is anything but happy.”
